How to Create an Air Fryer Cookbook with AI (Watch One Become a Book in Under 6 Minutes)
An air fryer cookbook is a recipe book with one extra job: every recipe has to work in a hot, small, fast basket. In the video above James takes "air fryer cookbook" from the prompt box to a ten-recipe book with a pop-art cover, ready to publish or export as a KDP package, in under six minutes. This page follows the same steps and adds what a six-minute video has no time for: what every air fryer recipe must state (temperatures in both units, preheat, batch size, a single layer, when to shake, a doneness temperature), how many recipes to aim for and how to reach 50, how to check AI recipes before anyone cooks them, cover and title tips, where to sell, and numbers from the 135 air fryer books people have made on Inkfluence AI.
Disclosure: Inkfluence AI is our product. Product details on this page were checked against the app on 2 November 2026.

How do you make an air fryer cookbook with AI?
Decide who the book is for and how many recipes it holds, then in Inkfluence AI type your idea into the prompt box, or choose the Cookbook / Food book type, which recommends 20 chapters at one recipe each. Ask in the brief for temperatures in Fahrenheit and Celsius, preheat times, batch sizes for your basket and a doneness temperature in every recipe. Check the plan, write the book, then check every temperature and time against your own air fryer, add a cover, preview it and publish it to the Showcase, Gumroad or Etsy, or export the KDP package for Amazon. For a cookbook that is not built around one appliance, the general cookbook video is the better walkthrough.
What the video covers, in order
- Type "air fryer cookbook" in the prompt box on the dashboard and click Create my book, or choose Cookbook / Food under "Or start from a book type"
- Step two: idea examples to borrow from, then the chapter count (20 recommended for cookbooks, ten in the video)
- Choose Quality or Speed (the video uses Speed) and generate
- The plan: one recipe per chapter, moved up or down, deleted, or added to with Add chapter, then Write the book
- The finished cookbook in a few minutes: each recipe with prep at the top, about the dish, ingredients, instructions and a quick version
- Download, export, or make a short video of the book for TikTok, Reels or Shorts
- An AI cover in the Bold style from the prompt "pop art graphic poster air fryer cookbook", painted by Inky, added to the cover and saved
- Preview the book in each format, publish it free to the Showcase or to Gumroad or Etsy, or export a PDF, KDP package, EPUB or DOCX and upload the KDP package to Amazon
James calls the result a "10 page cookbook": it is ten chapters with one recipe in each. The YouTube description mentions 50 recipe ideas; the video makes ten, and how to reach 50 is covered below.
What makes an air fryer cookbook different
A general cookbook can say "bake until golden". An air fryer cookbook cannot, because the reader's appliance is the variable. Air fryers range from a two-quart basket on a student's desk to a dual-drawer machine that feeds a family, and the same chicken thighs that cook in 18 minutes in one take 24 in another. The University of Nebraska-Lincoln Extension's food safety tips for air fryers make the point plainly: check the operator's manual, do not overfill the basket or tray because food will not cook evenly or reach the proper temperature, and use a food thermometer, which it calls the only way to ensure the safety of meat, poultry and egg products when air frying.
So the recipes in an air fryer book carry more information than recipes in most cookbooks, and the reader is usually a beginner who needs all of it. That is the shape of the market too: of the 135 air fryer books made on Inkfluence AI, 68 are aimed at beginners or framed as easy, and 63 promise something quick. A buyer of an air fryer cookbook has usually just bought the appliance and wants it to stop being a mystery. The book earns its price by making the first two weeks of ownership go right.
That leads to three rules for the whole book. Write every recipe for a stated basket size, so a reader with a smaller machine knows to cook in batches. Give every temperature in Fahrenheit and Celsius, because air fryers are sold worldwide and dials differ. And end every meat, poultry and fish recipe with a number the reader can check with a thermometer, not "until cooked through".
The book type and the recipe count
The video shows both ways in. Typing "air fryer cookbook" into the prompt box on the dashboard and clicking Create my book works, and so does choosing Cookbook / Food ("Recipes, meal plans, kitchen tips") under "Or start from a book type". Either way the book is written in the recipe format: one recipe per chapter, at roughly 950 to 1,050 words a chapter, enough for a full recipe with notes. Of the 135 air fryer books on the platform, 120 were written in that recipe format.
The chapter count is the recipe count, so choose it on purpose. The Cookbook type recommends 20; the video uses ten. This is how we would size an air fryer book.
| Recipes | What it is | Plan needed | Good for |
|---|---|---|---|
| 5 | A taster: one of each course | Free plan (up to five chapters a book) | Trying the format; a newsletter freebie |
| 10 (the video) | A short themed ebook | Paid plan or credits | A lead magnet, a low-price Etsy download, "10 air fryer snacks" |
| 20 (recommended) | A standard recipe ebook | Paid plan | A first paid ebook on one theme: quick dinners, healthy mains |
| 30 to 40 | A full cookbook with every course | Paid plan (up to 40 in the plan) | A paperback on Amazon KDP, the main product of a food blog |
| 50 or more | A big collection, like the YouTube description's 50 | Paid plan, then chapters added in the editor | A flagship cookbook, or two volumes of 25 |
The platform's own books follow the same curve. Of the 35 air fryer books that named a recipe count, the median was 40, and 30 was the single most common number. Ten named 100 or more, which is a lot of recipes to check; a tested 30 sells better than an untested 100. To go past 40, write the plan's 40 first, then open the Chapters panel and click + Add, or use the AI panel in the editor to generate a new chapter, one recipe at a time.
How each recipe is laid out
This is the part James points to after the book is written: "it's got the prep at the top, it's got about the dish, it's got ingredients, and then it will go into how to create each recipe", with a quick version at the end. Every recipe chapter follows the same six parts, with headings that vary a little from recipe to recipe so a long book does not read like a form.
- The prep line. One line at the top: prep time, cook time, total time, servings and difficulty. Readers scan this first to decide what to cook tonight.
- About the dish. Two or three short paragraphs: what it is, why it works in an air fryer, what to expect. This is where your voice lives.
- Ingredients. A list with measurements, grouped by type when it runs long.
- Instructions. Six to ten numbered steps with times, temperatures and visual cues for doneness, with a tip where it helps.
- Chef notes and variations. Storage, serving ideas and one practical swap.
- Quick version. One or two sentences of shorthand for someone who has made it before, the line James highlights in the editor.
For an air fryer book, the instructions and the prep line are where the appliance details belong. Ask for them in the brief, as the builder below does, and the steps will say "Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C)" and "Cook in a single layer for 8 to 9 minutes, shaking halfway" rather than "cook until done".
The air fryer details every recipe needs
Use this as the checklist for every recipe in the book. A first draft usually gets most of them; the missing one is different every time, which is why it pays to check them all.
- Temperature in both units. "400°F (200°C)". Give the Celsius figure rounded to how dials are marked.
- Preheat or not. Many air fryers heat in a few minutes and some recipes start cold. Say which, every time, because the reader's manual may differ.
- Time as a range. "8 to 9 minutes", with what to look for at the low end. Machines differ in power, so a single number promises more than it can keep.
- Batch size and basket size. "Serves 4; in a 5-quart basket, cook in two batches." This is the line beginners most need and drafts most often skip.
- Single layer, shake or flip. When to shake the basket for small pieces, when to flip larger ones, and the instruction not to stack food.
- Oil. Whether to spray or toss with oil and roughly how much. "Less oil" is the reason many readers bought an air fryer; tell them exactly how little.
- A doneness temperature. For meat, poultry, fish and egg dishes, the safe internal temperature from the CDC (below), checked at the thickest point.
- Liners and accessories. If a recipe needs parchment, a small cake tin or a rack, say so in the ingredients, not halfway through the steps.
Food safety: the numbers your book has to get right
This is the section where a cookbook can hurt someone, so check it against primary sources rather than a draft. The CDC's four steps to food safety give the safe minimum internal temperatures that every meat, poultry and fish recipe should end on:
- 165°F (74°C) for all poultry, including ground chicken and turkey, and for leftovers and casseroles.
- 160°F (71°C) for ground meats such as beef and pork, which covers air fryer burgers and meatballs.
- 145°F (63°C) for whole cuts of beef, veal, lamb and pork, then a three-minute rest, and for fish with fins.
The same CDC page says to refrigerate perishable food within two hours, or one hour if it has been somewhere above 90°F, which belongs in the chef notes of any recipe with leftovers. The extension guidance adds two habits worth a line in the book's introduction: clean the basket or tray after each use, and read the manual for your model. For frozen foods, tell readers to follow the cooking directions on the package for that product, and do not invent air fryer times for frozen, raw, breaded products.
Build an air fryer cookbook brief
What to put in the prompt: the recipe count, the reader, the angle, the courses and the basket size, plus a request for the air fryer details every recipe needs. Pick them below. The builder writes the brief, suggests how to split the recipes across courses, and opens the brief in your dashboard.
Your brief
An air fryer cookbook of 20 quick recipes, 30 minutes or less, for air fryer beginners, covering breakfasts, mains, sides, snacks and desserts, written for a 5 to 6 quart basket. One recipe per chapter. Every recipe gives the temperature in Fahrenheit with Celsius in brackets, whether to preheat, the time as a range, the batch size for the basket, when to shake or flip, how much oil, and for meat, poultry and fish the safe internal temperature to check with a thermometer.
How to split the recipes across courses
From the brief to a finished cookbook
Write the brief: what the prompt needs
The video types three words, "air fryer cookbook", and still gets a complete book, because the book type does a lot of the work. A better brief gets a better book, and for air fryer recipes the extra sentence is cheap. Five things belong in it: the recipe count, the reader (beginners, busy parents, people cooking for two), the angle (quick, healthy, high-protein, budget), the courses, and the basket size. Then one sentence that asks for the air fryer details by name: temperatures in both units, preheat, time as a range, batch size, shake or flip, oil, and a doneness temperature for meat, poultry and fish.
The reader changes the recipes more than anything else. Beginners need the basics spelled out and fewer ingredients; people cooking for two need half batches that do not waste a bag of anything; students need cheap, one-basket dinners; gym-goers want protein in every recipe, which is why 58 of the air fryer books on the platform mention it. Say plainly what you do not want, too: "no deep-fry batters", "no recipes over 30 minutes" and "no specialist accessories" each make a better book.
Check the plan, then write the book
After you generate, the plan appears under the heading "Here's your plan" with one recipe per chapter. As James shows, you can move recipes up or down, delete any you do not like the sound of, and click Add chapter for a recipe you want that is not there, before you click Write the book. Three edits are worth making on almost every first plan: group the recipes by course so the book reads like a cookbook; delete near-duplicates (two kinds of wings is fine, four is not); and make sure the plan has the beginner staples readers search for, such as fries, chicken thighs, salmon and roast vegetables.
On paid plans you also choose a generation mode: Quality, "best structure and depth (slightly slower)", or Speed, "faster generation with concise output". The video uses Speed to keep the demo short. For a cookbook you will sell, Quality is the better default, because recipes benefit from complete steps and notes. Either way, the ten-recipe book in the video is written in a few minutes.
How to check AI air fryer recipes
AI writes fluent recipes, and fluent is not the same as right. An air fryer recipe has more numbers in it than most, and every one of them has to be true in a real machine. Work through this list for every recipe before you export anything you intend to sell.
- The doneness temperature is there and correct. 165°F for poultry, 160°F for ground meat, 145°F for whole cuts (with a rest) and for fish, from the CDC.
- The Celsius matches the Fahrenheit. Drafts sometimes convert one figure and not another. 400°F is about 200°C, 375°F about 190°C, 350°F about 180°C.
- The batch size fits the basket. A recipe that serves six from one 4-quart basket will be overcrowded; add "cook in two batches".
- The times work in your machine. Cook the recipe, note the real time and the thermometer reading, and correct the range.
- Allergens are flagged. The FDA lists nine major food allergens: milk, eggs, fish, crustacean shellfish, tree nuts, peanuts, wheat, soybeans and sesame. Breaded air fryer recipes often contain three of them.
- Nutrition numbers are yours or absent. If you print calories, calculate them from your exact quantities using a database such as USDA FoodData Central and say they are estimates. Otherwise leave them out.
The editing tools are where the video goes next: open the book with Edit and everything is in the left sidebar. Use the AI panel to rewrite a recipe in your own voice, add a missing batch note across a chapter, or generate an extra recipe as a new chapter. Regenerate a recipe that missed the point entirely rather than patching it line by line.
Front matter that makes an air fryer book worth more
A beginner's air fryer book is more than its recipes. A few short pages at the front answer the questions readers would otherwise email you, and the AI assistant can draft each one from the recipes you already have.
- How to use this book. The basket size the recipes assume, what "in batches" means, and how to adjust for a smaller or larger machine.
- Air fryer basics. Preheating, not overfilling, shaking and flipping, oil sprays, liners, and cleaning the basket after each use.
- A temperature chart. Fahrenheit and Celsius side by side for the temperatures your recipes use, and the safe internal temperatures from the CDC.
- A "first week" plan. Five easy recipes in the order a new owner should try them, building from fries to a whole meal.
- Shopping staples. The oils, seasonings and freezer standbys the book assumes, in one list.
Cover and title tips
The video opens the AI tab in the cover designer, picks the Bold style, described in the app as a "pop-art graphic poster", types "pop art graphic poster air fryer cookbook", and lets Inky paint it, then clicks Add to cover and saves. Bold is one of ten styles; Photographic ("realistic cinematic photo") suits a cover built around a plated dish. AI covers come with paid plans (Creator includes 10 a month and Premium 30, then credits); on the free plan, use a stock food photo or upload your own. The AI book cover generator page shows the styles, and the cover design guide covers type and thumbnails.
Three things sell an air fryer cookbook at thumbnail size. Put "Air Fryer" first in the title, because it is what buyers type. Add the recipe count and the promise: "50 Quick, Crispy Recipes for Beginners" tells a buyer exactly what they get. And show food in or beside the basket, so the cover says "air fryer" before anyone reads it. If you have cooked the recipes, a photo of your own food is the most honest cover you can have, and on Etsy a real result is now part of the rules for recipe products.
Preview, publish and export
Preview the book in each format, as the video does, and check that ingredient lists and steps hold together on a phone screen as well as on a page. Then choose where it goes. The Publish screen shows four places: the free Showcase, your Gumroad shop, your Etsy shop and Amazon KDP. A PDF export comes with every plan; EPUB, DOCX and the KDP package come with any paid plan or credit pack. Which format goes where is its own short guide.
- The free Showcase. James calls it free exposure that builds your credibility as a published author: the book gets a public page on the Inkfluence AI books showcase.
- Etsy. Recipe ebooks sell there as printable downloads, and you can publish straight from the book once your shop is linked. Since 22 October 2026 Etsy requires the information buyers rely on in recipes, patterns and instructions to be your own work, not generated by AI, with an actual result shown in the listing; AI-assisted downloads still need disclosure. For Etsy, sell your own tested recipes and use AI for the layout and the writing around them. What changed on Etsy in October 2026 quotes the policy in full.
- Gumroad. Good for selling to an audience you already have, such as blog readers or followers, and publishable straight from the book. Etsy or Gumroad compares the two.
- Amazon KDP. Export the KDP package, as the video does, after checking the copyright page and the About the Author details: your name, your bio and your website. Upload the EPUB for Kindle and the print files for a paperback; paperback publishing on KDP covers the print side. KDP's content guidelines require you to tell Amazon about AI-generated text, images or translations, even if you edited them substantially; content you wrote and improved with AI tools counts as AI-assisted and needs no disclosure. Our KDP AI disclosure guide walks through the form.
The video also points out the option to make a short video of the finished book for TikTok, Reels or Shorts. For a cookbook that is a natural fit: a 15 to 20 second clip of the cover and a recipe or two. Book videos come with Creator (20 a month) and Premium (60 a month); the book trailer maker page shows how they work. How to price an AI-created ebook covers pricing, and the selling walkthrough video shows Etsy and Gumroad publishing on screen.
What 135 air fryer books say about how people make them
These figures come from the air fryer books people have actually made on Inkfluence AI up to 2 November 2026, the day this video went up, read from the books themselves. Nothing about any single book or person is published, only counts.
air fryer books made by 110 people
135 non-fiction books whose title or brief names the air fryer had been made on Inkfluence AI by 2 November 2026, by 110 people. 84 say it in the title and 120 were written in the recipe-book format. The pace rose from 4 in March 2026 to 26 in July and 24 in October.
Sample: every non-fiction book on the platform, 136,579 books scanned. Counted 2 November 2026.
median recipe count named in the brief
Of the 35 air fryer books that named a recipe count, the median was 40 and the most common single number was 30 (6 books). Ten named 10 to 29 recipes, nine 30 to 49, six 50 to 99 and ten 100 or more.
Sample: 35 books that named a recipe count in the title or brief. Counted 2 November 2026.
exported to a finished file
74 of the 135 air fryer books, 54.8%, were exported to a finished file at least once. 7 had an AI cover, 2 were listed on Gumroad or Etsy and 1 was turned into an audiobook.
Sample: all 135 books. Counted 2 November 2026.
- 135 books by 110 people. Most people made one. 84 put the air fryer in the title; the rest are books where it is part of the brief.
- Beginners and speed lead. Beginner or easy (68) and quick (63) are the most common angles, followed by protein (58), healthy or low-oil (40), budget (30), family (27), plant-based (21), weight loss (18) and keto or low-carb (12).
- Recipe counts cluster around 30 to 40. 35 books named a count: the median was 40 and the most common number was 30. Ten aimed for 100 or more.
- Almost all are recipe books. 120 of the 135 were written in the recipe-book format, the one the video shows.
- Short books, finished. Of the 51 with a recorded length, the median is 5 chapters and 5,521 words, about 957 words a chapter: most people start with a five-recipe book.
- They get used. 74 of the 135, 54.8%, were exported to a finished file at least once. 7 had an AI cover and 2 were listed on Gumroad or Etsy.
- About one in six is not in English. 21 were written in other languages, most often French (6), Spanish (5) and Portuguese (4).
- The subject is growing. From 4 books in March 2026 to 26 in July, and 24 in October.
How it was counted. Every non-fiction book on Inkfluence AI whose title or brief names the air fryer (air fryer, air fried, airfryer), counted once whether or not it was finished. Terms were matched as whole words in English and for the same appliance in Spanish, Portuguese, French, German and Italian. Fiction, poetry and picture books are left out. Angles and recipe counts are read from the title or brief; chapters and words come from books with a recorded length of at least 2,000 words; export means a file was downloaded at least once. 136,579 books were scanned. Counted 2 November 2026. No title, brief or account is published.
The wider picture across every kind of book is on the AI book writing statistics page.
Six air fryer cookbook briefs, and what each one makes
Count, reader, angle and one constraint, in a sentence or two each. Every one gives the plan a clear job for each recipe.
- "An air fryer cookbook of 50 quick, crispy recipes for beginners, 30 minutes or less, for a 5-quart basket." The YouTube description's book. Write the plan's 40 on a paid plan, then add ten in the editor, or publish two volumes of 25.
- "20 healthy air fryer dinners that use as little oil as possible, for busy parents, with batch notes for a family of four." The recommended size, on the angle many readers bought an air fryer for.
- "10 air fryer snacks and party bites for game night, each serving six, with dips." The video's size: a short themed ebook that also works as a lead magnet or a low-price download.
- "30 high-protein air fryer meals for gym-goers, with the protein per serving calculated from the ingredients." A full book for a defined reader, with nutrition numbers you calculate yourself.
- "An air fryer cookbook for two: 20 recipes in half batches for a small 3-quart basket, with no leftover ingredients wasted." A reader the big books ignore, and a basket size most recipes do not fit.
- "25 vegetarian air fryer recipes on a student budget, one basket, no specialist accessories." Budget and plant-based are both common angles; this one adds a hard limit that makes every recipe usable.
What does not work is a brief with no reader, no count and no basket. "An air fryer cookbook" gives the plan nothing to decide with; it will come back as ten reasonable recipes for nobody in particular, which is fine for a demo and hard to sell.
Six mistakes particular to air fryer cookbooks
- "Cook until done". Every meat, poultry and fish recipe needs a temperature to check with a thermometer.
- One basket size assumed and never stated. A family recipe in a 3-quart basket is overcrowded. State the basket and the batches.
- Fahrenheit only, or Celsius that does not match. Give both, and check the conversion.
- Deep-fry recipes renamed. Wet batters drip through the basket. Ask for air fryer methods: crumb coatings, a light spray of oil.
- Precise times nobody tested. "Exactly 12 minutes" printed from a draft is worse than a range you checked.
- Untested recipes on Etsy. Etsy now requires recipes to be your own work with a real result shown. Cook them, photograph them, then list them.

Full video transcript
It's James from Inkfluence AI and this is how to make an air fryer cookbook with Inkfluence AI. So, first what you want to do is head to the homepage. So, you can either add in the prompt here. So, air fryer cookbook and then click create my book. Or what we can do is go to start from a book type and then select cookbook/food.
As you can see on step two, there's already some examples here that you can use or be inspired by. But as we've got our idea already, we're going to go for an air fryer cookbook. You can then select the chapter count. So, it's recommended 20 for a cookbook slash food to really show off, you know, the food, the menu, etc. that you're presenting. But for this video, we're just going to go for a 10 chapter cookbook. And then you select the generation mode. So, either quality, which is a bit slower but better structure and depth, or speed, which is a faster generation. So, we're going to go for speed for this video and then click generate my book.
Now, what Inkfluence AI is doing is it's taking the prompt, it's taking the chapter count, and it's taking the generation mode, and it's bundling it all into a book for us. As you can see, we've got the progress bar along the bottom. And just like that, it's given us a 10 page cookbook for our air fryer cookbook. Now, you might not want all of these recipes in there, so you can move some up or down. And you can also delete if you don't like the sound of a certain recipe. To be honest, they all sound amazing, so I don't want to delete too many, but you can delete if you want. And if you see something here and you feel inspired to add in another page, then you can just click add chapter and it will add in another recipe.
But I'm happy with how this all looks. So we're going to select write the book. And just like that, Inkfluence AI is beginning to create our air fryer cookbook. Now, as you can see, all sounds absolutely amazing. And as the cookbook, it's laying it out like you would expect a cookbook to look. So, it's got the prep at the top, it's got about the dish, it's got ingredients, and then it will go into how to create each recipe as well. And in just a few minutes, Inkfluence AI has created an entire air fryer cookbook.
There we go. So the book is now ready. It's been a few minutes. If we're happy with this, we can download the book or we can start to export it, or we can make a video to promote the book on either TikTok, Reels or Shorts. But I'm going to edit first just so we can take a look at the book. As you can see, each page has the ingredients, the instructions, and a quick version on how to make it as well. So, it looks absolutely amazing.
The last thing I want to do is just edit the cover. So, we're then going to go to AI to generate an AI book cover. You can choose from any of these styles here, but I'm going to go for, let's go for bold. So, a pop art graphic poster air fryer cookbook. Generate cover and then Inky is painting our AI cover for us and it'll be ready in just a minute. And we can then apply that to the book before downloading or exporting it. As you can see, Inky is hard at work there, crafting our book cover. There we go. That looks absolutely amazing. Going to select add to cover and then save.
And then we can now preview our book so we can see how it looks in different formats. I mean, look at that. Looks absolutely amazing. Very professional. Exactly how you would expect a cookbook to look. Now, final things to note. You can now publish this book on either our free showcase. So this is basically great for free exposure and it builds your credibility as a published author. You can sell it on Gumroad or Etsy. You just need to link your Gumroad or Etsy account and you can then export the book either PDF, KDP, EPUB or DOCX.
And if you wanted to sell it on Amazon, you would just export the KDP package. Make sure everything here is how you want it. So the copyright page for example, the, you know, about the author, add your name, the bio, website and when ready just click export KDP package and you can then upload it to Amazon.
Air fryer cookbook FAQ
How do you make an air fryer cookbook with AI?+
Decide who the book is for and how many recipes it holds, then in Inkfluence AI type the idea into the prompt box or choose the Cookbook / Food book type, keep or change the recommended 20 chapters (one recipe per chapter), check the plan and click Write the book. Every recipe arrives with a prep line, an introduction, ingredients, numbered instructions and a quick version. Then check every temperature, time and batch size, add a cover, preview, and export a PDF, EPUB or KDP package. In the video above the whole ten-recipe book takes under six minutes.
What should every air fryer recipe include?+
The temperature in Fahrenheit and Celsius, whether to preheat and for how long, the cooking time with a range, the batch size for a stated basket size, "in a single layer" where it matters, when to shake the basket or flip the food, whether to spray with oil, and a doneness check: for meat, poultry and fish, the safe internal temperature (165°F for poultry, 160°F for ground meat, 145°F for whole cuts with a three-minute rest and for fish, per the CDC). The recipe layout gives each of these a place; the brief should ask for them by name.
How many recipes should an air fryer cookbook have?+
Ten for a free starter or a lead magnet, twenty for a standard ebook (the number the Cookbook book type recommends), thirty to forty for a full cookbook. Of the 35 air fryer books on Inkfluence AI that named a recipe count, the median was 40 and the most common single number was 30. The app writes one recipe per chapter: the free plan writes up to five chapters a book, paid plans up to 40 in the plan, and you can add more chapters in the editor afterwards.
Can I make a 50-recipe air fryer cookbook?+
Yes, in two steps. A paid plan writes up to 40 recipes from the plan, one per chapter. Add the other ten in the editor: open the Chapters panel and click + Add, or use the AI panel to generate a new chapter. Or publish two volumes of 25, which also gives you a series to cross-sell.
Should I choose Quality or Speed?+
Quality for a book you will sell: it is described in the app as "best structure and depth (slightly slower)", and recipes benefit from complete steps and notes. Speed ("faster generation with concise output") is fine for a test run or a short giveaway, and it is what the video uses. The choice appears on paid plans.
Are AI-generated air fryer recipes safe to publish?+
Not without checking. Air fryers vary in size and power, so times are starting points, and the only reliable check for meat, poultry and egg dishes is a food thermometer, as the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Extension puts it. Check every temperature against the CDC safe internal temperatures, flag allergens against the nine the FDA lists, and cook the recipes in your own air fryer before you sell the book. The video's own description says the same: review temperatures, quantities and food safety before publication.
Can I sell an air fryer cookbook on Etsy?+
With care. Etsy allows AI-assisted digital downloads with disclosure, but since 22 October 2026 it requires the information buyers rely on in recipes, patterns and instructions to be your own work, not generated by AI, with an actual result shown in the listing. For Etsy, sell your own tested recipes and use AI for the layout, the introduction, the tips and the writing around them, with photos of the real food. Gumroad and Amazon KDP are the other routes the video shows.
How do I publish an air fryer cookbook on Amazon?+
Export the KDP package, as the video does, after checking the copyright page and the About the Author details (your name, bio and website). Upload the EPUB for Kindle and the print files for a paperback. KDP asks you to tell it when text, images or translations were created by an AI-based tool, even if you edited them substantially; content you wrote yourself and improved with AI tools counts as AI-assisted and needs no disclosure.
Can I make an air fryer cookbook on the free plan?+
You can make a short one: the free plan writes up to five chapters a book, which is five recipes, and exports a PDF. Choosing Quality or Speed, a 20 to 40 recipe book, AI covers, EPUB, DOCX and the KDP package come with a paid plan or credits; Creator is $9.99 a month and Premium is $19.99 a month.

A reader, a recipe count, a basket. Then generate.
Type the idea or pick Cookbook / Food, say who the book is for, how many recipes it holds and the basket you are writing for, and check the plan before anything is written. A five-recipe starter is free; 20 to 40 recipes come with a paid plan.
