How do I get started with Inkfluence AI?
Sign up for a free account at inkfluenceai.com - no credit card required. Once registered you can immediately create ebooks, lead magnets, and workbooks using our AI writing assistant, 20+ professional templates, and built-in cover designer. The onboarding wizard walks you through your first project in under five minutes.
Do I need any writing or design experience?
Not at all. Inkfluence AI handles the heavy lifting - AI generates structured content while professional templates take care of layout, typography, and branding. If you can describe your topic, you can publish a polished ebook.
How long does it take to create an ebook?
Most users finish their first ebook in 30 minutes to a few hours with AI assistance. Short lead magnets can be done in under 30 minutes, while longer guides or books may take a day or two. Compare that to the weeks or months traditional methods require.
Can I import existing content?
Yes. Paste from Google Docs, Word, or any text source - the editor preserves your formatting. You can also start from scratch or use a template and let the AI expand your outline.

Is there a limit to how many ebooks I can create?
No project limits on any plan. Free users get 5 chapters to start, plus 5 more every month (resets on the 1st), and 3 Smart Continue generations per day. Creator members get 35 chapters/month and generous daily allowance. Premium users enjoy unlimited chapters, high-volume daily allowance, and unlimited projects.
What is the AI cover designer?
Create professional book covers without design skills. Pick a template, customise colours, fonts, and images, and generate a 3D mockup of your finished cover - all inside the same workflow. Premium users access advanced customisation options and more templates.
Can I create audiobooks?
Yes! Inkfluence AI includes an AI audiobook generator with 9 natural-sounding voices. Convert any chapter to audio in one click and export MP3 files ready for distribution or embedding in your products.
How does the template gallery work?
Browse 20+ professionally designed templates organised by use-case - business, education, fiction, coaching, marketing, and more. Preview any template, then use it as your starting point. Each template includes pre-designed layouts, colour schemes, and typography.
Is there an iOS app?
Yes! Inkfluence AI is available on iPhone and iPad. Create, edit, and export ebooks on the go. Your projects sync seamlessly between web and mobile so you can start on desktop and finish on your phone.

Is there a free plan?
Yes. The free plan includes 5 chapters to start, plus 5 more every month (resets on the 1st), 3 Smart Continue generations per day, basic templates, PDF export, and cloud storage. Perfect for testing the platform or creating lead magnets - no credit card required.
What plans are available?
Three tiers: Free ($0), Creator ($9.99/month or $7.42/month billed yearly), and Premium ($19.99/month or $14.92/month billed yearly). Annual billing saves up to 25%.
What is included in Premium?
Unlimited chapters, high-volume Smart Continue, up to 30 audiobook chapters per month, all 20+ premium templates, PDF/EPUB/DOCX export, advanced cover designer, custom branding, priority support, writing analytics, batch operations, and a full commercial licence.
What are credit packs?
Credit packs let you buy chapter credits without upgrading your plan. Credits are used after plan allowances and can be used for chapter generation, AI cover image generation, and audiobook generation. Choose 15 credits for $9.99, 25 credits for $12.99, or 50 credits for $24.99. Credits never expire.
Can I upgrade or downgrade anytime?
Yes. Upgrade instantly to unlock features. Downgrade anytime - you keep paid features until your current billing period ends. Your projects and data are always preserved regardless of plan changes.
Do you offer refunds?
Subscriptions are non-refundable once any AI generation, content export, download, or audiobook creation has occurred during the current billing period. Chapter credit packs are consumable and non-refundable once any credits from the purchase have been used. If you believe a charge was unauthorized or made in error, contact support within 7 days so we can investigate. Refunds are provided where required by law. Are there educational or nonprofit discounts?
Yes. Students, teachers, and nonprofit organisations are eligible for special pricing. Contact support with verification (student ID, .edu email, or nonprofit documentation) to apply.
What payment methods do you accept?
All major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover) plus digital wallets - processed securely through Stripe. All transactions are encrypted and PCI-compliant.
Will my price change after I subscribe?
Your rate is locked in at sign-up. If we raise prices in the future, existing subscribers keep their current rate as long as they remain subscribed.

How do I reset my password?
Click "Forgot Password" on the sign-in page, enter your email, and follow the reset link. The link expires in one hour. If you don't receive it, check your spam folder or contact support.
Can I change my email address?
Yes. Go to Settings → Account → Email Address, enter your new email, and verify via the confirmation link sent to your inbox.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Go to Settings → Billing → Cancel Subscription. You'll keep paid features until your current billing period ends, and you can reactivate anytime.
What happens to my projects if I cancel?
All projects remain safely stored and accessible. You can still view and export them. You'll only lose paid features like unlimited chapters and advanced exports until you resubscribe.
How do I delete my account?
Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account. This permanently removes all your data, projects, and subscription information. Export any important work first - this action cannot be undone.

What browsers are supported?
Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge (latest versions). We recommend Chrome or Firefox for the best editing experience. Internet Explorer is not supported.
Can I use Inkfluence AI on mobile?
Yes! The web app is fully responsive, and we also have a native iOS app for iPhone and iPad. For the richest editing experience we recommend a tablet or desktop, but mobile is great for reviewing and quick edits.
Is my work automatically saved?
Yes. Every change saves to the cloud within seconds - look for the "Saved" indicator. You can also save manually with ⌘+S (Mac) or Ctrl+S (Windows).
What if I lose my internet connection?
Your last saved version is safe in the cloud. Reconnect to continue - any unsaved changes since the last auto-save will need to be re-entered. We recommend a stable connection for the best experience.
Why is AI generation slow sometimes?
Speed depends on request complexity and server load. Simple requests take 2-5 seconds; complex chapters up to 15 seconds. If it's consistently slow, try refreshing the page or checking your internet connection.
What is the maximum ebook size?
There's no hard limit. Ebooks over 200 pages or with many high-resolution images may take slightly longer to export. For best performance, optimise images before importing.

Is my data secure?
Yes. We use 256-bit SSL encryption for all data in transit and at rest. Projects are stored on secure, regularly backed-up servers. We never share your content with third parties.
Who owns the content I create?
You do - 100%. You retain full ownership and copyright of everything you create with Inkfluence AI. We claim zero rights to your work. Paid plans include a commercial licence to sell, distribute, or monetise your ebooks.
Do you train AI on my content?
No. Your content is private and never used to train AI models. We respect your intellectual property. Our AI is trained on publicly available data, not user-generated content.
Can I export and delete all my data?
Yes. Export every project in PDF, EPUB, or DOCX anytime. To permanently delete all data, go to Settings → Account → Delete Account. This removes everything from our servers.
Are you GDPR compliant?
Yes. We comply with GDPR, CCPA, and other major privacy regulations. Read our Privacy Policy for full details on data collection, usage, your rights, and how to submit a data request.
How is payment information handled?
We never store credit card numbers. All payments are processed through Stripe, a PCI Level 1 certified processor. Your payment data is encrypted end-to-end.
