Audiobook, translation, KDP, selling and more pay credits.

Yours to keep

A milestone you reach stays reached.

The map

Click `Journey` in the top navigation. The map follows a book through four chapters: your first book (start it, finish it, export it), making it shine (an AI cover, an audiobook, a translation), out into the world (KDP paperback files, your own shop, the Showcase, your first 10 readers) and the next one (book two, then a shelf of five). A fifth chapter, bringing friends along, is open-ended (see below). The card on the left shows what is up next, with a button that takes you straight there. Tap any stop on the map to see what it involves.

Inky keeps you company at the top of the page. Tap `What's next?` to walk through the steps still ahead, or `Fun fact` for a number from your own books.

Credit rewards

Several milestones pay chapter credits the first time you reach them, and some come with a surprise when you get there:

  • Paint an AI cover: 3 credits
  • Make the audiobook: 5 credits
  • Translate it: 5 credits
  • Get it ready for Amazon (KDP paperback files): 5 credits
  • Sell it in your own shop (Gumroad or Etsy): 5 credits
  • Write book number two: 5 credits

Claiming your credits

When you reach a rewarded milestone, a card appears on your Journey. Tap `Claim` and the credits are added to your balance straight away. They work like any credits you buy: chapters, AI covers, audiobooks and translations beyond your plan's monthly allowance. Each reward is paid once per account.

On the free plan, rewards are saved for you as you reach them. You claim them when you join Creator or Premium, and they do not expire.

Once you reach a milestone it stays reached, even if you later unpublish the listing or delete the book.

Bring a friend

The `Bring a friend` card on your Journey has your own invite link. Tap `Copy` and send it to anyone who has a book in them. When they create their account through your link and join Creator or Premium, they get 10 free credits with their first payment.

Once your friend has been on a plan for 30 days, they count for you: 20 credits each, claimed from the same card. On the free plan these are saved for you until you join a plan, like other Journey rewards.

Chapter 5 of the map, `Bring others along`, is the ladder:

  • 1 friend: First Friend
  • 5 friends: Book Buddy, plus a free month of your plan
  • 10 friends: Writing Circle, plus 3 months of Premium
  • 25 friends: Ambassador, plus 6 months of Premium
  • 50 friends: Hall of Fame, plus a year of Premium

How friends are counted

Free months arrive as credit on your Creator or Premium bill, so your next payments are covered until it is used up. If you do not have a subscription yet, they wait for you until you do.

A friend counts once, only when they are new to Inkfluence AI (their account is less than two weeks old when they use your link) and still on a plan after 30 days. Refunded payments, your own second account, and sign-ups that came through an affiliate link do not count. We may withhold rewards that come from abuse of the programme.

Events and your trophy case

Now and then the Journey runs a month-long event with a short checklist, like Launch month in November: finish a new book, give it a cover, export it, put it on the Showcase or Gumroad, and find 10 readers. Tasks tick themselves off as you do them during the month. Finish them all and the event badge goes into your trophy case for good.

The trophy case sits under `Your numbers`. It shows your title on four ladders (books made, words written, Showcase readers and audiobooks) and how far you are from the next one.

Your numbers and more stats

Under the map, `Your numbers` shows how many books you have made, your words, chapters, audiobooks, AI covers, translations, exports and Showcase readers, and how your word count compares with famous books. Tap `More stats` for your writing days, your library, your readers and your badges.

Creator and Premium add the words-per-day chart, finishing numbers, badges and a full year of writing days.

What gets tracked

Click `Journey` in the top navigation, then `More stats` at the bottom of the page. It shows your words this week and today, your best day, a heatmap of the days you wrote, what kinds of books you write, your longest books, how your books on the Showcase are doing, and badges for words, chapters, books, publishing and readers.

What Creator and Premium add

On a paid plan you also see a chart of your words per day over 30, 60 or 90 days, how you finish (how many books you export, how many of your words ship, how long a book takes), your longest books ranked, your badges, and a full year of writing days instead of the free 90-day view.
