The goal is a unified Sibihile Scientific Method: empirical verification, logical rigour, and mathematical modelling all governed by communal consensus and relational ethics.

6.2 Francis Bacon: Empiricism and Communal Induction

Bacon liberated science from authority, but his empiricism was individualist and instrumentalist (nature “put to the rack”). We upgrade it with Ubuntu‑Empiricism: observations must be validated by a diverse epistemic jury. We also replace the domination metaphor with a listening metaphor—nature is a partner, not a prisoner.

6.3 René Descartes: The Cogito, Dualism, and the Relational Correction

Descartes gave us methodical doubt and the mathematical scaffolding for AI, but his dualism (mind/body) and solipsism (I think) are fatal flaws.
