The premise: Alexander Corvinus had a third son nobody knew about-a bastard child who became the progenitor of ghouls through a completely different evolutionary path than his vampire and lycan half-brothers.

The combination of fear, desperation, and consumption triggered his mutation

He became the first ghoul-a new supernatural species born from cannibalism and survival instinct

Axel: Consumed human flesh during the plague

The fear of death and starvation

The desperation of survival

The taboo act of cannibalism

These factors awakened his unique mutation

Consuming human (or ghoul) flesh grants Axel access to their memories

He also absorbs their physical abilities

This mirrors Alex Mercer’s absorption powers from Prototype

Tokyo Ghoul Power Framework:

His descendants (other ghouls) inherit variations of this consumption-based power system

The ghoul abilities from Tokyo Ghoul become the standard powers for Axel’s bloodline

While Axel has the full Prototype-level absorption, his descendants have the more limited Tokyo Ghoul-style abilities

The Parallel StructureJust like his half-brothers Marcus and William, Axel’s mutation follows the same pattern:

Trigger: Fear and desperation

Catalyst: A specific action (bite vs. consumption)

Result: Awakened Corvinus bloodline with unique supernatural abilities

Ghoul can’t consume others whom has the Corvinus strain, eating those with it will make them want to puke it out, the flesh and blood of those with it like the vampires and Lycans and fellow ghouls will taste like shit to them, metaphorically, they don’t gain memories nor sustenance but if they forcefully does eat those with the Corvinus strain it will empower them, it densifies their ‘bio-mass’, AKA their ‘Kagune’, but again over consumption leads to loss of sanity and more ferality and ‘hunger’.
